LEAVING IS DISCOVERING YOURSELF

BECAUSE WHEN YOU GO TO LIVE ABROAD...

Each departure is an opportunity to deepen self-knowledge.

We experience other cultures, ways of doing things, ways of thinking.

This allows us to open up, put into perspective the patterns in which we grew up and re-evaluate our original beliefs...

We arrive in an eco-system that is unknown to us and for which we are unknown.

Each expatriation is an opportunity to write a new chapter of our life in which we can "exercise" this new person that we are deploying...

We move away from the environment that nourished and shaped the identity mold in which we were constructed.

This allows us to exist differently, in a framework that will allow our identity to take a form that is increasingly imbued with who we are becoming.

Our loved ones are far away. Those who are used to interacting with our "original mold", could exert resistance (often unconsciously) to seeing us change.

This distance gives us greater freedom to be...

An inevitable imbalance occurs.

This imbalance brings to the surface of our consciousness the reasons why our behaviors, thought patterns and beliefs limit us in the image we have of ourselves and the world around us.

Our deployment is rooted in this point of instability.
